Ancient Egyptian artists endeavored to preserve everything from their time as clearly and permanently as possible, sometimes even forsaking beauty for accuracy. These early “photographers” aimed to record their lives as realistically as possible. They even figured out how to make paper out of the papyrus plant so they could make photo albums!
The need to document our lives, especially milestone events such as weddings and childhood, is not exclusive to 21st century folk. Imagine if the Egyptians had digital cameras and lighting! There wouldn’t be enough museums in the world to fit all the photos.
Fortunately, we have technology today. But all the technology in the world won’t get you that perfect “framer” without an expert. That’s where Ron Veiner comes into the picture, no pun intended.
